Immunisation

Immunisation

Under new Federal Government Legalisation introduced on the 01 January 2016, parents/guardians wishing to enrol children into an Early Childhood Service must produce an Immunisation History Statement showing evidence that their child is:

Fully immunised for their age

OR
  • on a vaccination catch-up program
OR
  • unable to be fully immunised for medical reasons

Public Health and Wellbeing Amendment (No Jab, No Play) Bill 2015

Please note that ‘conscientious objection’ is not viewed as a valid reasoning under the ‘No Jab No Play’ legislation.

We request that all parents supply up to date Immunisation History Statement record ton enrollment.

We take the welfare of all our children very seriously, and for that reason any child who has  not been fully immunised may be excluded from care in the event of a vaccine preventable disease outbreak (such as whooping cough, measles), for the duration of the outbreak.

Please note: Children who are not immunised  are not eligible for Child Care Benefit and the Childcare Cash Rebate.
